Review for Apple MacBook Pro MD313LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop (NEWEST VERSION) (Personal Computers) I waited a month before writing this review to make sure my initial impression would hold up & it did.

MacBook Pro's -

1. Track Pad (Fantastic!)
2. No Trial Software (everything installed is fully functional - no more nag screens)
3. Battery Life (I get around 5 or 6 hours on a charge)
4. Incremental Backups with Time Machine (You can use almost any external HD instead Apple's expensive Time Capsule)
5. Support is Awesome (Nuff said)
6. It's Just Plain Sexy (No more Windows bricks for me...)

MacBook Con's -

1. No HDMI out
2. USB Ports too close together
3.

Review for Toshiba Satellite P755-S5274 15.6-Inch LED Laptop (Black) (Personal Computers) This is my first laptop, and even though I've only had it for 9 days, I believe I've drawn a conclusion already.

Pros: 6gb ram and huge 640gb hard drive
Extremely smooth Youtube video playback
USB 3, Bluetooth 3, Wireless B/G/N, HDMI and VGA out
Quiet
Great battery life (in my opinion?)

The "chiclet" style keyboard is incredibly easy and satisfying to type on. The keys give off a satisfying light click, and they're far enough away from eachother so I rarely hit another key.
I have never seen an HD Youtube video play back so smooth before, not even on my desktop with an Nvidia Geforce GTS 250.
Speaking of video performance, Minecraft plays as smooth as my desktop plays it. I have not played other games, but DO NOT buy this laptop for gaming; you'll likely regret it.
It takes 22 seconds from power on (with the BIOS option "Load BIOS onto harddisk" checked), until you get a usable Windows 7 login screen.
The laptop has quite a few ports and features including: USB 2 and 3, Bluetooth 3, Wireless B/G/N, and HDMI and VGA out. Very handy to have and use all of them.
Internet browsing is far from slow, it feels much faster than my desktop.
You can only hear the fan occasionally speed up, if you strain to hear it in a quiet room.
Battery life is awesome, I was able to type an entire 725 word essay from start to finish with 10% left.(3 hours at least, maybe 4. I lost track of time)
Speedfan claims both cores are idling at 109f, but you can hardly feel any warmth from the laptop even after several hours of use.
Display is glossy, vivid and bright. Some may see it being glossy as a con; it's fine indoors, but tough to use outside (I never use it outside).
The numpad is an awesome feature to include, it was one of my main requirements in a laptop.
Windows 7 makes everything feel instant and responsive.
I've never run out of ram with the included 6gb.

Now onto the bad stuff (Minor whining on my part)
Cons: Keyboard is not backlit
Off center touchpad location interferes with typing
Dust magnet
Bloatware madness
Speakers suck(ish)

This laptop has doesn't have backlit keys, not a con if you know how to type; I just always thought they looked cool at night.

Review for Toshiba Satellite P755-S5380 15.6-Inch LED Laptop - Fusion X2 Finish in Platinum (Personal Computers) I purchased this Toshiba Satellite laptop as a birthday present to myself a few days ago and am not disappointed. This is my favorite computer among the MacBook and laptops that I own. This computer is the most powerful of all, and the 2nd Generation i5 processor is fantastic. The graphics display on DVD and Netflix videos is excellent and the harman/kardon speakers are awesome! Overall I am pleased so far with the operation of this laptop and the specs included are impressive for the cost. Also, the laptop cover is handsome and has interesting ridges that will hide potential scratches well. Please feel free to post questions. I will answer them if I can.

Review for Sony VAIO EJ2 Series VPCEJ28FX/B 17.3-Inch Laptop (Charcoal Black) (Personal Computers) Very very nice laptop, no complaints.

- True desktop replacement.

- The design and looks are great, very solid build and light to move around.

- The quality of the screen is amazing, blu-rays played flawlessly.

- Chiclet keyboard is very comfortable to type on.

- Performance is excellent for multimedia family use purposes.

- Integrated graphics card is no good for heavy graphics software like gaming but more than enough for everything else.

- It came with 4GB (4GB x 1) of ram and I replaced with 8GB (Kingston ValueRAM 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 KIT 4GB x 2) for faster multitasking and increased integrated graphics card sharing.

- Windows Experience Scores: Processor: 7.0, Memory (8GB RAM): 7.4, Graphics: 6.3, Game graphics: 6.3, Primary hard disk: 5.8

- Battery ran for 3 hours @ 2.40GHz full power no turbo boost and highest screen brightness.

- 4 usbs is great to have, we had 3 before and was always 1 short.

- 640 GB @ 5400 hard drive is more than enough space and speed.

- Speakers are good enough for a laptop. I have external speakers hooked up so I don't really use the internal ones.

- No bluetooth, no problem cause we have never used it on other laptops.

- Fans are on the quiet side.

All in all it was a perfect purchase at an incredible $599. If you don't want to spend much on an excellent family desktop replacement laptop with an amazing 17" screen you have to get this.
