Review for ASUS G74SX-DH72 Full HD 17.3-Inch Gaming Laptop - Replublic of Gamers (Black) (Personal Computers) I just bought this laptop a week ago, and it is a wonderful product. I have owned two Dell laptops in the past that have given me good service. But, my last Dell was six years old, and it was time for an upgrade. I couldn't be happier with this unit. It is lightning fast with the SSD being the boot drive. It is sleek looking - it has angles resembling a stealth fighter. All of the fans vent out the back so it doesn't get hot sitting in your lap or on the desk. I have used it for Internet/Email as well as running Work and Excel. It is lightning fast with anything you throw at it. I even played a GL version of Quake on it without any problem. I haven't thrown any newer games at it but I have read reviews on [...] showing pretty sweet framerates with all of the latest hardware pushing PC games. It comes with a nice Logitech mouse and backpack case. It is a little heavy. But, I would rather have power than light weight. All in all, it is a great laptop computer. I have been using Asus motherboards in all my home built computers for years. I recommend it without hesitation and I would definitely buy another Asus product.
